The three things that matter
- 1
Bank statements and financials
The same two documents the quick application uses. If you have already uploaded them, they are here. The engine looks at cash that actually arrives, existing instalments, and whether the saving can cover a new one.
- 2
Read the verdict, not just the colour
"What the books say" tells you what a credit analyst will see first. "Can you afford" puts the saving next to the instalment. "The ask" is the amount that fits. Each line says why.
- 3
Amber is a to-do, not a no
Amber usually means a document is missing or something needs an explanation, such as a bounced debit order with a good reason. Fix it, press "Re-run checks", and the verdict updates.
The one mistake
Treating amber as a decline and walking away. Most ambers clear with one document or one sentence of context, and your installer can see exactly which one.
What happens next
From here you can open the financial proposal with every structure side by side, or start the application. Your prequal travels with the file, so nobody asks for the same documents twice.
